18 INCHES OF NEW SNOW AT SUGAR BOWL RESORT, FORECAST CALLING FOR SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL SNOWFALLS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AHEAD

(Donner Summit, Calif) – Skiers and Snowboarders were rejoicing at Sugar Bowl Resort today (2-28), as 18 inches of new snow had fallen in a 24 hour period, a welcomed and much appreciated jump from the original forecast of 2 to 4 inches. Adding to the excitement, the National Weather Service is calling for additional accumulations of 2 to 4 feet of new snow by Thursday morning. And with weather clearing for the weekend, calling for sunny skies and warmer temperatures Friday through Sunday, it should set up for easy travel to and from the resort, making all conditions ripe for the best weekend of skiing and riding thus far this season.
