(Donner Summit, Calif) – Located atop Tahoe’s Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl
Resort has been the home of authentic alpine adventure since 1939, steeped in

complete with hundreds of free slopeside parking spots. Value-driven programs
such as the points-based perks of CORE Rewards, and the free lessons and
rentals of General Admission offer deals for everyone, while the adventure driven
Backcountry Adventure Center offers powder-pursuits for those looking for

CORE REWARDS
Save big on lift tickets every day of the season with Sugar Bowl’s CORE Daily
Pass, offering the convenience of a season pass without the commitment. The
Daily Pass offers $15 savings on an all-day rack rate lift ticket for just a $19
annual membership, which includes membership in CORE Rewards, a points based
loyalty and rewards program where members earn points every time they
ski and ride, and for every qualifying dollar spent, that can them be redeemed for
free items across the resort. Passholders can also add resort charge to the Core
Daily Pass to enjoy direct-to-lift access and resort-wide charging privileges. For

GENERAL ADMISSION
Sugar Bowl’s innovative General Admission program offers free standard rentals
for the day and a free two hour group lesson at any level for ticketed guests ages
13-69, and all season passholders age 4 and up.
Further details of Sugar Bowl’s General Admission program for 2011/12:
• Offered daily from opening day through December 23, 2011
• Offered Monday – Friday from January 2, 2012 through March 12, 2012,
excluding January 16, 2012 and February 20-24, 2012
• Offered daily from March 12, 2012 through closing day
• Lessons offered at either 10:30am or 1:30pm
• Season passholders ages 4 and up can participate in free lessons and rentals.
Age 3 can participate with free rentals
• Ages 13-69 can participate in “GA” with any all-mountain lift ticket on General
Admission Days
• Ages 4-12 receive a special-rate Bear Tracks lift, lesson & rental package on
GA days. A la carte ticket and rental pricing offers a more affordable option for
children not wanting to take a lesson.

LESSONS AT THE MOUNTAIN SPORTS LEARNING CENTER
Sugar Bowl’s Mountain Sports Learning Center offers progression-focused programs
with professional and accomplished instructors. Offering group, private and guaranteedratio
classes, the MSLC offers improvement-driven teaching that will improve your

The Den, Sugar Bowl’s children’s-only ski school center, offers a one-stop,
comprehensive lessons experience that kids enjoy and parents appreciate. Home to
the resort’s Signature Lesson Programs of Sugar Bears, Powder Cubs and Black Bear
Adventures, the classes are tailor-fit to kid’s ability levels, ages 4-12. Guaranteed class
sizes with a 3-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio ensure a quick learning curve in a fun and

SUGAR BOWL SEASON PASSES
All Sugar Bowl Season Passes include the following:
• Complimentary membership in the CORE Rewards
• Free group lessons (ages 4 and up) at any level and standard gear rental (ages 3
and up) on General Admission Days
• $10 off of a lift ticket for 1 Friend every day of the season, and $15 off your own
ticket on any pass blackout days (must be present with pass to receive a friend’s
ticket; friend’s discounts not valid with CORE Daily Pass)
• Refer a new passholder and earn and extra 10,000 CORE Points!
BACKCOUNTRY
The Backcountry Adventure Center offers educational seminars on the science of snow
and professionally-guided tours into Sugar Bowl’s impressive backcountry terrain just
beyond the resort’s boundaries. Located in the Village Chalet building at the base of
the Disney lift, the BAC offers a full fleet of backcountry rental and retail gear, as well
as current snowpack safety conditions from the Sierra Avalanche Center.

NEW TUNE & REPAIR SHOP AT THE BASE OF MT. JUDAH
Whether you’re an experienced racer or a easy cruiser, help your equipment perform
at its best with a professional tune-up from Finish Line Tune and Repair, located at the
base of the Mt Judah Express Lift. Offering easy ski in/ski out access, Finish Line’s
experienced staff – headed by world class tuner Willie Wiltz – provides services from a
basic wax and edge to a world class race tune.
Package options:
• Standard: One snowboard or pair of skis machine edged and iron waxed as needed
with optional storage in our shop for the season.
• Pro: One pair of adult skis or board fully tuned minor base repair, sanded and stone
grind edged and iron waxed as needed with optional storage in our shop.
• Finish Line: One pair of adult Race skis hand edged polished and race waxed as
needed with optional storage in our shop.
• Olympic: Have your race skis prepped, maintained, and race waxed by Olympic
Serviceman Willi Wiltz.
• Development: One pair of youth race skis hand edged, polished,
training conditioning wax as needed with optional storage in our shop.
